a bit of mush...okay, loads of it

So I don't know how many of you have met my hubby, Dan... he is the extremely good-looking guy in the photos. The poor guy has been working so much lately... all day at Superstore then some evenings and all weekend for Astrojump. I am so grateful that he is willing to work to provide for us. I helped out a friend with her dayhome for a couple of days this week and (not that I didn't enjoy it, Maja!) but I am definitely glad that I don't have to do it everyday... in fact I am glad I don't have to work outside the home at all right now. I love being home with and raising the kids and yes, I'll admit, puttering around the house cleaning and cooking for my family. I love it! I don't believe that there is a more satisfying job out there. What is better than tucking clean babies into their soft beds at night knowing that they have had a day full of fun playing outside with each other and with friends since 8:00 this morning, knowing that you have done your best to teach them the things that they need to know to survive the storms of life? Kissing them on that soft spot right in between their eyebrows and taking a deep breath... just enough to stop you from missing them until the morning. I am so grateful that my life has turned out the way it has and that I have a wonderful man for a husband. I always say (well, most of the time :p) that he is my compensation for all of the hard things that I have had to go through in my life. Thanks for working for us so that I don't have to... love you, Dan....more than words can say...
