I find myself humming this song throughout my day as I watch this sweet little babe grow and change everyday. She is so different from our other babies, and it only begins with those chubby cheeks! Dan and I were shocked to see how much hair she has... or really that she has hair at all as our other babes were born totally bald (and stay that way for a good three years). She has such a sweet and relaxed personality so far. I couldn't be any luckier.

Ty really does take his role as big brother seriously. The first few days that Natalie was home he couldn't seem to hold her enough. I loved it when he said "mom, her cheek is right on my arm and it is so soft!"
She even has hair on her ears! Dan was a little bit worried when he first noticed it but I assured him it will wear off!

Paige also loves to hold and "pet" Natalie. She climbs up onto the couch and pulls a pillow onto her lap for me to prop the baby on while she holds her. She does pretty good with being gentle and loves to point out Natalie's nose and then her own.

May 20

4:00 pm : Doctors appt. Doc doesn't know what to say because he told me on the 6th! that I was going to have the baby any day (jerk).

5:00pm: Grocery shopping at Superstore with all the kids.... and feeling like I might be in labour, having contractions every two minutes.

6:00 pm: Driving home, by myself, with the kids, totally in labour.

7:00 pm: Getting into bed at the hospital, deciding not to have an epidural.

8:00 pm: Wondering why the hell I decided not to have an epidural.

9:00 pm: Holding my brand! new! beautiful, perfect baby girl.
