Last night was a long....long night. I spent the wee hours of the morning bumbling around in the dark, trying to find my way from Natty's room to Kami's room and back again. Needless to say, I'm a little tired today and have deemed it a "no extra's day" (no laundry, no baking, nothing but the bare minimum housework). To top it all off, the lady at the fabric store asked me if I knew if I was having a boy or a girl (!?) (in my defence, I was wearing a shirt that ties under the bust, that I did in fact, wear during pregnancy).
So I treated myself to my fave lunch of a chicken pesto panini and a Booster Juice. Thank goodness for the energy booster. I came home and whipped up the baby girl's Halloween costumes. Stay tuned for pictures of these... I'm pretty sure they will be the cutest l'il things you have ever seen.
In the works, a neighbourhood Halloween party, hosted by who? yup, us. I am really looking forward to having the kids help make decorations and plan this party for their friends. It all started with the book Franklin's Halloween. We just have to find a day that works amidst all the birthdays this month. (Paige will be 2! on the 28th).
On the lookout for: a black onesie or long-sleeve shirt, or anything that Natty could wear under her costume.... would you please let me know if you have one I could borrow or see one at a store I could pick up? thanks! (3-6 months size).

Andy, Your "no extras" day sounds a lot like a really busy day to me!! Next time take more time to yourself!
k advice, buy a white one, and then buy dye and dye it black! thats what I did when I wanted angie to have a black shirt, and heck you could dye all the kids black things and then they are a fresh dark black
Andy, I am in the states but there was a black onesie at Walmart that said "Baby's first Halloween" on the front. Marlee is going to be a strawberry!
I took a "no extra's" day myself yesterday, but it was to read a book and not because of a long night of selfless motherhood. The Host, have you read it?
I think you might be able to find one at Zellers...in the baby boy sections.
