well, thanks to some awesome friends (including Dan) I am just about done preparing for the primary Christmas party. Today I actually had some time to work on my own projects. Ever have the feeling where you bit off more than you can chew, well, let's just say... I did. Maybe the stockings will be for next year.....
a few random smiles over the last few days:
*trying to explain the meaning of the word "sake" to Chels while reading the other night. I think the book said "for goodness sake" and she wanted to know what it meant... what would you have said?
*simultaneous cackling (that is the only word to describe Kami's laugh) from the back of the van while the girls and I drove home from dance class. The kids have all been playing really good together lately. It's probably the one thing that makes me the most happy.
*watching Paige eat her cereal with her t-shirt pulled up over her head... still on her arms, just pulled over the top of her head.
*ty trying on 3 different outfits before the school Christmas concert tonight. He also had to shower after dinner because "people were coming to see him sing". He must have asked us how he looked 100 times before we left... and his hair had to be just right.

and i'm lost on the sake thing. i have no idea what i would have said.
and i said the same thing about my stockings this year ... maybe next year;)

Good job with the primary party! Nate had lots of fun! the cookies were the best part!
