Although we have been home for a while now, not a day passes where I don't think of going back. The count down is on.
Summer '09 Part 1 Highlights:
* Getting to see Trevor and the kids, two of which we had not even met yet.
* the time spent at the lake, enjoying the warm weather, lounging on the lake shore (and when I say lounging I mean scooping rocks from Natty's mouth, chasing Paige with her life jacket, trying to escape children on the raft, and making endless sandwiches out of the cooler.) Thank goodness for every one's help. It actually was really relaxing.
* boccie ball
* a day of rain which means shopping in Kalispell
* the smell of the air
* I tried wake boarding for the first time ever, and actually did it
* tubing with Paige
* quad rides
*having the Wrights come and stay
* a trip to Big Sky Waterslides to meet up with Dan's friends from high school. It was a blast to catch up with everyone and their families.
* seeing the fear on the waitresses face at Pizza Hut when we asked for a table for 6 adults and 11 kids.
*the boat, the sun, the family, the lake, the mountain air, the relaxation, the time with Dan.
.... and the 1st annual Cabin Family Talent Show July 12th, 2009
Chels and Madison kicked things of with a dance/ skit that they had practised all day.

Dawson danced. This kid has got some sweet moves. I only wished I had my video camera. He was awesome... cutest kid ever.

Grandma and Grandpa danced. They really can dance too.

Love that smile.
Natty walked and showed off her amazing ability to attract smiles by just simply being. She is such a ham.

And here are Kami and Paige. Kami is demonstrating her skill at being the boss while Paige is trying to remember what Brooklyn taught her to do.....

.... and there it is... the plier.

Ty batted.

Brooklyn danced. Those girls have definitely inherited their mothers dance skills. The first (and only) time I've seen Tenae dance was with her sisters, in my parents backyard, in the moonlight, in her wedding dress and yes, it was awesome.

... and as much as I want to I will not leave out the human pyramid, which could not have happened without sweet little Bryson coaching us. I think I finally got a smile out of him the day before they left.
10 more days ... and this time, I'll put my camera to better use and actually take some real pictures while we are there.

It was so fun to see you guys at the waterslides! What a perfect day for the weather, and it was so nice to visit with everyone. I'm thinking we'll have to do something again soon -- and not wait so long in between to keep in touch! :o) Hope you have a great time back at the cabin -- enjoy every minute, since school is back in again waaaaay too quickly!
Andrea, that looks so fun. I love family reunions and talent show skits!
Oh it looks like so much FUN!!!
Cute pictures. Jill told me about them. We really did have a great time.
I'm so jealous that you guys had so much fun! The cabin is so nice and would be a blast to go with you guys at the same time sometime! We'll have to plan it. Glad that you guys had a good time!
