at least we went to old navy

>We took Chelsey up to the Flames game on Monday night. Her first ever Saddledome experience. She seemed to enjoy it and was only a little nervous climbing the stairs to our seats. Some of the best quotes of the night were from Chelsey:

During the national anthems " I wish everybody would sing quietly so I could hear the players singing".

"Why does everyone have those cups with the yellow stuff in them?" I told her "it's beer" and she looks relieved. I think she may have thought it was something else (pee, perhaps?).

When there was about eleven minutes left in the third period Chels looked up at me heavy lidded and asked "What team are we cheering for?"

She had a good time, didn't watch 30 seconds of hockey but had a blast watching security guards kick people out for bringing their own beverages (we think.) Her and Ty worried all night long that we would be kicked out for smuggling in Skittles and cinnamon hearts. They got quite a thrill hiding them and acting nonchalantly when the security guards walked by.

It was a fun night, just the four of us. It was nice to not worry about car seats or strollers (or crying babies). Unfortunately, the Flames lost (again). I hadn't set my hopes too high but did hope for Chelsey to at least experience how loud the fans can be when the Flames score. Too bad they just can't seem to score these days (unless they play the Oilers!).

I guess we'll just have to go again.

It looks like fun. We had fun at home too. It's always good for me to be there with the kids. They keep me young. You got some great pictures and now Chels can say she was there. Grandma
