today

Today I slept in (until 8).

I talked to a great friend and my lil' sis on the phone.

I took my girls for a bike ride, stopping off at the park on the way home. Natty rode in her new bike seat on the back of my bike (her birthday gift) and she loved it! She looked so cute wearing her helmet and holding on to the bar, saying "gain!" every time I stopped. We only lost her shoe once and had to go back to the park for it (smart girl).

I kept my cool during the lunch time rush....

I packed up the two little girls and met some friends at the spray park, painted some teensy toenails and enjoyed the nice weather.

My best friend came to visit and we spent the late afternoon on the deck under an umbrella checking out recipe books and parenting magazines.

We picked up Dan from work.

We picked up pizza on the way home for dinner... yay, no cooking!

We ate dinner on the deck, while watching the lightening and waiting for the thunder.

The kids ran around in the rain. Then came in for hot apple cider.

I have one sun burnt arm.

I am feeling relaxed. My family is all here, under one roof.... and I feel happy. Finally.
