did she ever feel this way?

So my kids have been sick, started thursday night. What this means is that Ty and Chels have not gone to school since last Friday. Can I admit that I am going crazy?! I just don't think I can play Guess Who or Uno one more time. I am grateful for my children and their imaginations and especially that they have each other to play with. We have done everything I can think of... puzzles, play-dough, Lego, Ponyville, forts, books, board games, Polly Pockets, rented them movies, seriously everthing. We even infested ToysR'Us with their germiness because we needed to GET OUT and I needed them to be entertained by something other than me. I have read Sister Beck's talk about mother's everyday this week for inspiration to be a good mother... and I don't think it has gone too bad. Until today, Ty needs to go to school... asap. They have Thursday afternoon and Friday off because of parent/teacher interviews. That gives me one day with just the girls home to regroup and come up with some amazing entertainment. Pray for us, pray for them....I need some fresh ideas!

What this has made me think about the most is my mom. Did she feel this way about me? Don't get me wrong... I love my kids (so much that I smell their feet?!Heh, heh)and I'm sure my mom loves me but I wonder if I drove her crazy when I stayed home from school. Sorry mom, and thank you... for never letting me know how annoying I was.

I just had a idea... maybe I'll get Dan to bring home a casket box (that is the cardboard box that the casket came in). Last time he did this it kept them busy for three days, decorating and playing in it. Whoo, I might be off the hook.... if Dan can get one home for us, everything might be okay!

Also, I am in desperate need of a good book to read, any suggestions?

Read "The Measure of a Lady" by Deanne Gist. I don't know what your taste is but it is good! It is set at the time of the gold rush in San Fransisco.

i am obssed with amish books, tey are a light read, but soooo interesting. Start with "te storekeepers daughter" by Wanda E. Brunstetter, and she has ALOT of series , and they are all amazing, another good Amish author is Beverly Lewis.

When you said you were going to have Dan bring a casket box home I was creeped out thinking of your kids playing in a coffin. I am glad you clarified that one. haha
