a short one for today
I heard the baby's heartbeat today. You'd think after the fifth time it would not warm you to the core just like it did the first time... but it does. It's terrifying and electrifying all at the same time. It was that toe-tapping, bu-bump bu-bump seared into my soul that got me through my day today, which was hormonal and awful and amazing, all squished together.
