When I was younger, I had to sleep in socks. In fact, I would tuck my pyjama pants into the tops of my socks. Yes, I was stylin'.
Today I was talking to a friend about whether or not you sleep in socks (do you?) I confessed that although some nights I go to bed with socks on at some point during the night I take them off and throw them across the room.
When I do go to bed with socks on, I always wake up to find them on the other side of the room. In fact, one night when I threw them they hit a bottle of lotion off of my dresser and woke up Dan.
I was explaining this to my friend, telling her that I'm not really awake when I do it but I'm pretty sure I'm just trying to get my dirty socks into the laundry hamper (which is right beside my dresser, my aim isn't bad!)... and she said "oh, so....you're cleaning in your sleep!"
Yes! I clean in my sleep. All day this conversation entertained my need to do some ridiculous thinking (yes, I think wierd things, daily) : so today I spent the day putting everything that was in a mess on my bed. I will go to sleep tonight (on a huge mountain) and hopefully wake up tomorrow with everything cleaned up and in it's proper place!
I can't wait until morning!

Yep, I"m the same. I sleep in socks sometimes and they do seem to end up somewhere on my floor too?!-- but I need to work on my aim because they aren't even close to the laundry. I hope your bed gets cleaned off tonight... if it works I want all the details!

and a side note ... i always think of you when i'm folding socks and i'm not entirely sure why. something about a sock game you'd play with your kids? is this ringing any bells for you? because honestly i have no idea where it came from. maybe you could clear it up for me ...

Great idea!!! I wish I could clean in my sleep...actually dust in my sleep, dusting has become my nemesis...agghh... I hate it!!
