I'm going to start this new thing. On Wednesdays, a definition will be presented. One that is totally original and probably personal and well, "momified". Because lets face it... a full dictionary could be printed in words for and about motherhood. You know like, "nursing poops" (watch out!), or how about " the puffy face" (you know that thing staring back at you in the a.m. mirror).
Today I did this:
Zone vacuum: derived from the idea of 'zone defence' from the good ole' basketball days. The vacuum must used one room at a time allowing for the rapid destruction that ensues when children see a clean floor. The mother tidies, the children follow. If vacuming is not immediate it will be impossible within seconds. The "zone vacuum" technique works because the carpets are cleaned before the children discover that mom has moved on to the next room and complete and utter devastaion occurs.

I never thought of it that way. I did notice though that quite often your vaccum is out ready to roll.
