This evening after dinner I asked Kami if she would please go downstairs, find my book and bring it back up to me. After a detailed explanation of where I had left it she conceded, and headed down to retrieve the book.
She came back up a few minutes later toting my heavy, hardcover book under one scrawny arm and said "Well, I couldn't find it."
Then she held out my book for me to see and said "But look what book I'm reading!"
This kid cracks me up.

Sometimes she's just too cute and smart. She sure has me wrapped around her little fingers. I had a great daytoday with everyone. It was great to get together.
