that my kids do still say funny things...
- the other night I was lying in bed with Kami. She had a nasty fever, was really congested and was having a hard time getting comfortable to be able to sleep. She sat up in bed and said "mom! I just can't sleep because I can't stop breathing!" You should have seen the look on her face when I grinned and said "Good!" .
- we were sitting at the table last night having a snack and the kids were talking about one day being parents themselves. Chelsey said she never wants to be a mom because then she'll have to do all the work. (so she is catching on!). Anyway, Paige said "when I grow up and become a human..... ". I didn't catch the rest because I was laughing so hard.
- when my girls are having a hard time getting along I make them sit in the chair together in the living room until they decide they love each other again. It's called the sister chair (and they hate it). Kami has been home sick for the last couple of days and her and Paige are getting tired of each others company. I reminded them where they have to go it they can't get along. Kami said "mom, the sister chair doesn't exist!". Ha! I'm sure I'll get to prove her wrong by the end of the day.

Haha...your kids are hilarious! We do kind of the same thing when there's fighting...only we help them have "Peace Talks". Seems to work better when we remember to that instead of yell!
Kami is a hoot. Iloved Chelseys idea too, I wish I would have thought of that myself. Not really I would never ever have given up the opportunity to be a Mom. No matter how hard it was some times. The good always outweighed the bad.
