Today we had to go to shopping for Birthday Gifts. I'm glad that my kids have lots of friends. But they do get invited to a lot of parties....

Anyways, I wanted to go early but got busy cleaning and helping Ty bake cookies so before I knew it, it was noon. I wanted to get the shopping done so Natty could have a good nap this afternoon. I told the kids to quickly get dressed and ready and decided to forgo a shower for the shopping trip. I braided my hair and put on my hat. When Ty saw me he said 'wow, mom, for not having a shower, you look pretty good!'

Love that kid.

After many tears and much frustration, we gave in to Kami's wishes to have her own bed. (Her and Paige have been sharing a double). Dan and I were up late last night putting twin beds together in their bedroom. Kami and Paige fell asleep waiting on the couches. We moved them into their own beds when they were ready and headed to bed.

Paige joined us around midnight as per usual. Kami came up at 2:30 and I came down to her room to sleep in Paige's bed (right beside Kami). I woke up to her elbows in my back.

Tonight, Dan and I have each tucked them in twice. They've both come out looking for drinks and other miscellaneous items.

Dan finally went in the bedroom to find out what the problem was and found them snuggled into the same bed together.

Go figure.

This afternoon the girls were playing store. Kami was selling toys,cookies and drinks. She had the items placed around the living room with her cash register set up on the couch. On the arms of the couch she had the money lined up. Nice and neat in a row.

As the little girls would make their purchase, they'd take some money from the line and hand it to Kami. Kami would put it into the register and take some out and refill her line on the arm of the couch.

I wish that's how the real store worked.
