We lost our fantastic home teacher to another ward.
The part of the city that we live in is growing and so are the amount of members of our church. Last week there were some big changes that resulted in us losing a large chunk of the people who were in our area/ward. But we gained another section of our area so it will be excited to see our new ward members on Sunday.
Our home teacher came for the last time last week. He gave us a lesson on tithing. He was a great teacher and always had something for the kids to learn and/or think about.
He brought the kids each a dollar in dimes. At some point in his lesson he used the phrase "cold, hard cash".
I believe that's why Talie insists on keeping her coins in the fridge.
Today I was complaining to Dan about feeling crappy for the last week.
Ty told me I should just keep paying my tithing and everything would work out. Ha!
We've recently made an improvement in the quality of our family scripture study. Honestly, it's crazy what a difference this makes in our home. The kids behaviours have been dramatically different in a very good way.
Life is good. Except for feeling crappy. Hopefully that will go away. Soon.
