Dan and I are vegging. I'm reading blogs and he's watching re-runs of Seinfeld.
The kids are in bed. It's been quiet for awhile so I'm assuming they're all asleep. I can hear the Primary songs that are still playing in the girls room.
"If You're Happy and You Know It" comes on and I hear simultaneous clapping from their bedrooms.
I guess they're not asleep. But that's ok.
Because hey, they're happy.

perfection right when all feels right :) love this! You are such a good writer!
Oh, this made me so exited for more regulated bedtimes come school starting again!
Primary songs in bedrooms, probably one of my favorite things...even the "clap along" ones add a feeling of calmness to a home.
Ben's been teasing me about my new found love of blogs (I know late bloomer eh?) I just need to get him watching a new show! THen our vegging time can be mutually enjoyable.
You ARE such a great writer. So succinct, yet profound (which I obviously need some lessons in)
I LOVE your blog and gave it a blog award...you can pass it along if you want...check it out here:
