Summer 2011 Part 1

At the end of June we went Go-Karting with our good friends the Haitsma's. It was all of the kids first times and they all had a great time. Ty was disappointed that you have to be 14 to drive on your own but had a good time riding shotgun with Dan. Even little Talie went for a few laps.

The Raymond Parade. We have yet to miss a year of the parade. In fact, in all of Dan's 34 years, he's never missed it. It's always a great day visiting with family and enjoying lunch at Aunt June's. After the parade we went to Waterton with Jerry, Saray and their family and Grandpa Mel and hiked Bears Hump. Our whole family made it up again for the second year. We even brought Roxy along this year and she loved it.

On the way home from Waterton, we stopped in Mountain View at some friends houses who just happened to have 9 cute puppies to get rid of. I caved and gave in to bringing home another dog. We named her Pepper.

This spring Ty played on a Ball Hockey team. They only lost one game all season. Ty lived for his hockey games and practices. He was invited to play in Medicine Hat for Summer Games. Dan, Ty, Paige, Talie and I all got to go stay at the M.H. Lodge for a night where we enjoyed the water slides and swimming in the pools. Ty's team had a great time playing in the big arena.

While we were in Medicine Hat, Chelsey, Kami and the two dogs got to stay at Grandma and Grandpa Hull farm. A fun time was had by all and Grandma said the girls were a great big help taking care of each other and the dogs.
