September - The kids are back to school! Yipee! I remember having a grin so big on the walk to school that first morning that my cheeks were a bit sore. The kids are doing so well in their classes. Chelsey in Grade 4, Ty in Grade 5 (last year of elementary - what!?!), Kami in Grade 2 and Paige started Kindergarten. We just had parent-teacher interviews and all of the kids are doing so great. It's so nice not to have to worry about them at school. And it's also nice to hear their teachers say such great things about them. (Sometimes I may need reminders of that)
October - We had a family birthday party for Paige, but unfortunatley not many family members could come so we invited some friends too. We spent the afternoon swimming (Paige's favorite passtime), came home for hot dogs and presents. It was a fun and loud night.
For Halloween we had a bunny, a peacock, two witches, and a mad doctor. The kids got way too much candy and I even got to take the little girls trick-or-treating for a little while before Dad took over. Talie was not too sure about trick-or-treating until we finished up at the first house and she realized what was happening. Then she was announcing "next house!" before the people had a chance to close their door. I'm sure she meant "thank you".
November - (has November happened?) We were lucky enough to have lots of company come to stay this month. We had two of the Bretzke boys come to stay for a week. Things went really well. Our whole family was totally smitten with these two good-looking boys. This hardest part of the whole week was divying up "Levi-time" between the girls.... and saying goodbye to Aarons amazing hugs at the end of the week. A few days after that we had the 6 Vaka kids come to stay. We had so much stuff and food in this house - it was pretty crazy! Things went smoothly with them as well. They are all such great kids. The morning they went home I left for my annual Black Friday shopping trip to Kalispell. This year it was the most fun I've had. I'm so lucky to be able to go down and do that trip. I love it.
And now it's December. Our tree is up. We've had so many blessings come to us over the last few months, I'm hoping to be able to blog it all so I don't forget.
Today was a great day. Sunday's always are for me. I love my ward, my family, my home, my neighbourhood and am blessed with so many great friends it's ridiculous.
And I posted.

So glad you posted :)
You taking my boys: awesomest, nicest, kindest thing! Once they got a taste of your happy home and cut-above mothering, I'm sure they had second thoughts about being returned!
Levi totally learned Talie's flirty smile, love it.
And McKye (who didn't even stay with you that week) asks for "my house!" ..."Paigie's?" "YES, Pagie's!" non-stop. Last night I asked him if he wanted to play with Naddy (he says it maddy) and I, kid you not, the boy blushed!
Pretty sure my kids would all move in with you guys in s a second:)
