spoon anyone?

So Dan and I received a really great blender for a wedding present. We used to make milkshakes all the time.... well, I should say, Dan used to make milkshakes all of the time (once we figured out how to keep it from leaking). I just enjoyed them. We mostly made banana... and canned mandarin oranges when we had them.

One day, I was wanting a milkshake. Dan wasn't. He also was not in the mood to make me one (boo). So I figured I was smart enough to make one "all by myself". Well, I thought wrong. We like our milkshakes thick so Dan would always stir it with a big plastic spoon while the blender was going. I know, I know. But he was good at it. I... was not. After a loud crunch,and when I pulled out a jagged spoon handle I knew I'd done something wrong.

We enjoyed the milkshakes anyways. (Yes, Dan ended up having some. What a guy.) We just figured whoever got the end of the spoon would throw it away when they found it in their milkshake.

So, half an hour later, when we had both finished our milkshakes we remembered the spoon. "Hey, did you get the spoon?"
" No"
"Oh, neither did I, weird...."

So apparently I fed Dan (and myself) tiny bits of plastic spoon in a milkshake. Maybe I was getting him back for the time he fed me glass.... on a piece of toast.... But that is a whole other story for another post......
