Day 11 - Something Old

How appropriate. Something old.... ME! I now have an eleven year old. And let me tell you, it is the best. It is so fun having older kids, I am thoroughly enjoying it. I love that he can buckle himself up in the van, blow his own nose, get himself a snack (most of the time), he stays in his own bed all night!, he can walk himself to school, and most of all BABYSIT!! Yipee! He does such great job too and I am so grateful to have such a responsible young man for a son.
Things I especially love about my Ty:
* he is a natural athlete
*he is quick to say sorry
*he is oh-so helpful around the house
*he is sensitive
*he's super cute
*he showers everyday
*he likes to hang out with me and is receptive to my teaching moments (which usually involve multiple interruptions and having to follow me to a different room at least once during).
*he goes to bed and sleeps like a dream
*he is so responsible
*he is an awesome big brother
*he is sweet
*he loves to help others
*he makes me feel like I do an okay job as a mother

I love Ty. I love that I get to be his mom. I love that he likes to watch Parenthood with me. I love that he is so patient with me and can always tell when I need a break and he helps me out. He really is the best eleven year old. Ever.
